Services

This dog shows the before and after of a grooming session.

The video above shows Hand Stripping, which is only suitable for some dogs.

OUR FULL GROOM INCLUDES:

A thorough wash in the bath with a shampoo suited to your dogs coat type and condition. Please let us know of any preferences or if your dog has any allergies or skin conditions as this will be catered for.

We remove tear staining using a very gentle and safe shampoo that can be used around the eye area.

We use a condioner suited to your dogs hair type, that helps alleviate matting and knotting inbetween professional grooming appointments.

Your dog is then hand dried with a soft towel and then your dog is blow dried or placed in a drying cabinet, depending on how nervous your dog is as this is kinder if your dog reacts to loud noise and is uneasy.

This is followed by trimming your dog to your request and/or to the particular breeds look.

Trimming can include:

Hand stripping and scissoring
Clipping
Dead hair removal

Treatments are concluded with:

Ear cleaning and plucking if appropriate
Nails trimmed
Finishing with a spray of beautiful smelling doggy perfume

PUPPY GROOMING

This is the perfect time to begin with a gentle introduction for future grooming, once of course, you have been advised by the vet that they can take their first walk, which is approximately 13 weeks onwards.

This includes:

Lots of cuddles
A gentle wash and dry
Nail trim  and delicate trimming of the bottom, feet, and face
ending with more cuddles and a little tasty snack.

FREE GREET AND MEET PUPPY INTRODUCTIONS

It is a good idea to get your puppy into the salon as soon as they are approved to walk by the vet as this gives them the opportunity to see, smell and meet their future grooming friend. It is just a visit, no work will be carried out at this time, and hopefully they will see it as fun. This is also a good idea to do if you have rescued or/and nervous dogs.
